Senior United States District Court Judge Sam Haddon of the Helena Division has announced plans to assume inactive senior status on August 31, 2023, after 22 years of service on the federal bench in the District of Montana. Judge Haddon will relinquish his pending caseload and will no longer maintain chambers in the Helena Division.  See Court Announcement dated 7/12/2023 for more information.
