The United States District Court family is saddened to announce that Senior United States District Court Judge Charles C. Lovell passed away in Helena, Montana, on June 14, 2023, at the age of 93. Judge Lovell had been on inactive senior status after 36 years of service on the federal bench in the District of Montana.  See full court announcement for more information.
